Following an announcement from the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), we are pleased to confirm that all remaining individuals have now left the accommodation block on the site of Arrowe Park Hospital, and that all passengers from the MV Hondius who subsequently returned to the United Kingdom have now completed their self-isolation periods.
This marks the conclusion of a complex and demanding operation, and we want to express our sincere gratitude to every member of staff involved and all of our partner organisations across the NHS, emergency services and local government who supported this effort.
The care, professionalism and compassion shown to guests throughout their time at Arrowe Park has been truly outstanding, and a credit to all who played a part. We would also like to recognise and thank the guests themselves, for their understanding, patience and adherence to what were undoubtedly difficult restrictions and circumstances.
Further information is available from the UK Health Security Agency.
